Dear customers,

As you may already be aware, our parent company Cooper – and therefore CEAG as well – became part of Eaton (www.eaton.com) at the end of 2012. We now belong to Eaton's electrical business.

How does this affect you?
Firstly, and most importantly: your contacts at CEAG and the way we do business with you will remain unchanged until further notice. A taskforce of very experienced Eaton and Cooper employees has been brought together to ensure a smooth and successful integration. This allows personnel in the field to continue to devote themselves in full to their daily business, ensuring that you still receive all the support you need.

How will things be different?
The integration process has been underway for nearly a year, and will take one or two more years complete. Some changes have already begun and more will appear in the near future: business cards and email signatures will be modified accordingly. Our website, catalogues and brochures will gradually take on the Eaton style.

One thing will always remain the same: we will continue to deliver the high quality you know and can rely on from CEAG products, as well as the cutting-edge technology we develop to ensure greater safety in the buildings that people use. We recognise that you have placed your trust in the experience and expertise we have from over 100 years in the emergency lighting. We want things to stay that way and feel a great duty to fully reward your trust, now and in the future.

How will the combination of Eaton and Cooper benefit you?
Combining Eaton's solutions for power distribution, power quality equipment and systems with Cooper's diversified electrical solutions and power system capabilities creates a new and dynamic market player in the electrical industry and opens a wealth of possibilities for you. Together we are establishing a solid company with secure future. Everything we do is aimed at offering you an even broader range of innovative solutions in order to overcome the world's most pressing challenges in managing electrical power.

We continue to place the utmost importance on your valued feedback which we look forward to receiving through the established communication channels, such as customer surveys, seminars, customer and industry events as well as via personal communications. We would like to use this opportunity to invite you to the Light+Building trade fair, taking place between March 30 and April 4, 2014 in Frankfurt, Germany. You will be able to experience our new emergency lighting solutions and get to know a broader range of the Eaton product portfolio. In the meantime your trusted contacts are of course always on hand for help and support.

We thank you for putting your trust in our service and we look forward to working together with you under the Eaton name.

Yours faithfully,

Henning Flöttmann
